Software Development Engineer II - Full Stack
We're on the lookout for a skilled Full Stack Engineer with a keen eye for front-end development to join our dynamic team. As a Front-End Focused Full Stack Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in crafting immersive user experiences by leading the charge on front-end development for Reviews team. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you'll transform design concepts into seamless, visually captivating applications across various platforms.
What you’ll do:
You will utilize appropriate methods and approaches to develop practical solutions for the business
You will communicate complex Technical and analytical topics in a clean & simple way to multiple partners and senior leadership
You'll have ability to independently drive individual solutions to completion and production development
You'll be working closely with team members to ensure data solutions are well built and are of high quality
Write code that is clean, maintainable, optimized, modular with good naming conventions. You will also use software frameworks to write simpler code
You'll Collaborate with other functions, e.g., Product, Program, Engineering and Cross functional teams to drive impactful business outcomes
Team up with peers across Organization to build an understanding of cross dependencies and shared problem solving
Collaborate with team members to co-develop and solve problems
Seek knowledge from domain specialists when needed
Understand the importance of system and technology integration and the basic features and facilities involved in the integration process.
Develop and test standard software applications and related programs and procedures to ensure they meet design requirements.
Help coordinate partner input and collaboration efforts when developing solutions to issues
Feel comfortable challenging authority/the status quo
Report clearly on current work status in Agile practice Qualification
Who you are:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
2+ Year's experience as a Full Stack Engineer with a strong emphasis on front-end development
Strong proficiency in front-end technologies: React, TypeScript
Familiarity with native development technologies (e.g., React Native, Swift, Kotlin) is an added advantage
Understanding of server-side programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Java, Kotlin)
Experience with database systems (e.g., Mongo DB, Redis) and familiarity with ORM frameworks
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including services like EC2, S3, Lambda, and Cloud Front
Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD etc
