As a Software Engineer III - UI Developer at JPMorgan Chase within the  team, you'll serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You will be responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.

Job Responsibilities :

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills :

  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
  • Experience in front-end development, with a strong focus on web technologies: Node js / React js / Javascript (ES6+) / HTML5 / CSS3 and Typescript.
  • Expertise with UI state management Redux / MobX / React Context / Apollo Client.
  • Experience with strong understanding of REST and Graphql.
  • Experience working with atomic design systems.
  • Expertise in automated testing frameworks such as react-testing-library and Jest.
  • Familiarity with continuous integration tools like Jenkins, Spinnaker and agile methodologies.
  • Experience in designing and implementing web socket based communications, ensuring scalability and efficiency in high-volume environments.
  • Adherence to code quality principals and consistent experience with unit, functional, and integration code testing
  • Experience with code versioning tools such as Git, Bitbucket etc.
  • Understanding of Agile SDLC methodology, including business analysis, development, maintenance, and improvement.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills :

  • Working experience with Next js.
  • Understanding of Nx Monorepo design and implementations
  • Knowledge of advanced grid solutions like AG-Grid.
  • Experience with modern testing frameworks such as Cypress or Playwright.
  • Understanding of DevOps principles including CI/CD.
