Job Description

The job at a glance

Join our team and you'll be responsible for building internal developer tools that transform Stepstone's standards, including the Service Catalog and Platform Intelligence system.

Working in the Automation Team department you will develop and maintain key platforms using Node.js, JavaScript, and AWS, contributing to both frontend and backend tasks while developing DevOps skills.

Your responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team and Product Manager to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Design and implement new features based on internal customers requests
• Be part of regular refinement sessions with the team to design architecture and technical direction
• Write and maintain tests Participate in code reviews and pair programming to maintain code quality and share knowledge
• Improve and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS services

Qualifications

Your skills and qualifications

• Strong programming skills (Node.js / JavaScript)
• Experience with cloud services, ideally AWS
• Familiarity with DDD, TDD, and software design patterns
• Passion for clean code and software craftsmanship
• Comfortable working in Scrum and agile environments
• Good written and spoken English skills
