Are you passionate about building software and ready to take your developer skills to the next level? Can you develop within a complex core system? And are you experienced with React? If so, then you might be the person we are looking for!

We are currently in search of a Software Engineer to join our web development team at JYSK. This role involves collaboration with various business units, and as an integral part of the team, you will contribute significantly to implementing web applications used by over 100 million customers across 28 countries. Your responsibilities will include creating intuitive user interactions for both our customers and store employees.

You will be working in a cross functional agile scrum team of skilled and motivated engineers with room for planning and building features by following best practices. You will work closely together with our E-Commerce and Java teams to find the best solutions.

WHAT YOUR NEXT JOB WILL BE ABOUT
Your tasks and responsibilities in the job include:

• developing and maintaining JYSK’s web applications with a focus on performance and scalability
• working closely with team members and stakeholders to build seamless user experiences
• taking ownership of existing applications and drive continuous improvements
• stay updated on Web technologies and share knowledge in the department
• receiving and giving technical guidance and mentorship in the development team to constantly improve yours and your colleagues’ skills

WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING
We are looking for a new colleague who:

• proficiency in React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• good communications skills and work well in a small or cross-functional team
• experience with scalable web applications and performance optimisation
• a proactive approach to improving solutions and challenging the status quo
• maybe experience with payment solutions
