Job Description:
The Innovations team is a global team responsible for the innovation, governance, automation, delivery, and support of software development teams that create cloud hosted solutions for Genesys Customers. The teams’ offerings include custom Contact Center Applications, Genesys product extensions, third-party systems integration, as well as consulting services around software development for customers and partners working with Genesys products and services. We work in a highly agile development model.
We seek an experienced cloud support engineer who can assist in supporting and managing our cloud environment that hosts our full-stack solutions specifically targeted for the AWS cloud platforms using native and containerized deployment methodologies. An aspect of the role will be to support and maintain our Devops pipeline for hosting our many solutions that operate in tandem with our Cloud product solutions and APIs.
Software languages and technologies of interest include Terraform, Cloudformation, NodeJS, ReactJS, container technology, and SQL Server.
The successful candidate must demonstrate skills as a Software Developer to support solutions for AWS (preferred) and Azure as a plus with a passion to explore new concepts and technologies. They must integrate well in a team culture, contribute to solutions development and communicate effectively with customers, team leadership and technical team members.

What You’ll Do
This is a hybrid role of a Senior developer who can also help manage the AWS environment to support the development teams that create solutions in this environment. This team provides dev ops services to the teams of developers building both internal and external solutions. We manage the CI/CD pipeline, build internal tools, perform code/architecture reviews, keep security in mind, and look for ways to always improve our automation and availability using the latest and greates technology.
