Why We Need you!

Ivanti is seeking a Staff Software Engineer - UI, Angular, JavaScript to enhance the user experience of our Enterprise Service Management platform. The ideal candidate should have 10+ years of experience in software development, preferably in enterprise-level product cloud applications. In this role, you will be a key contributor to our development team, delivering high-performing and intuitive interfaces.

What you’ll be doing… 

• Write and maintain efficient, testable code using best practices.
• Develop website layouts/user interfaces with standard HTML/CSS practices.
• Integrate data from back-end services and databases.
• Develop and maintain test-automation suites.
• Stay current with industry trends and apply them to your work.
• Utilize Angular 16 or later (or equivalent MVVM framework) for front-end development.
• Mentor junior developers.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into technical solutions.

Who You Are

• Highly skilled in developing user interfaces with modern JavaScript frameworks like Angular or React.
• Proficient in performance tuning and network application architecture.
• Creative problem solver with strong organizational skills.
• Effective communicator and collaborative team player.
• Passionate about emerging technologies and continuous learning.

To Be Successful in The Role, You Will Have:

• Bachelor’s or master’s Degree in computer science or computer engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong skills in HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and optionally .NET Core.
• Solid understanding of web application security, session management, and best practices.
• Knowledge of relational databases, Object-Oriented Programming, and web development.
• Experience with network diagnostics and analytics tools.
• Understanding of SEO.
• Proven track record in mentoring developers and leading small teams.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing high-quality UI components.
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with UI automation frameworks like Selenium or Cypress and unit testing tools like Jest.
• Hands-on experience with UI/UX research and A/B testing.
