At SAP, we enable you to bring out your best. Our company culture is focused on collaboration and a shared passion to help the world run better. How? We focus every day on building the foundation for tomorrow and creating a workplace that embraces differences, values flexibility, and is aligned to our purpose-driven and future-focused work. We offer a highly collaborative, caring team environment with a strong focus on learning and development, recognition for your individual contributions, and a variety of benefit options for you to choose from.

What you'll do

We are looking for [long-term] support for the further development of an existing tool that offers great potential for implementation, even for completely independent subtopics. Your own ideas are always welcome. However, we already have a very extensive pool of ideas just waiting to be implemented with your help!

The tool is based on JavaScript and uses node.js for the backend and vue.js for the frontend, plus a few smaller modules. The tool runs in the cloud but can also be operated locally for development purposes.

One of the goals for further development is to make the tool as user-friendly as possible, especially to support "one-time-a-year" users. The integration of an AI-based agent is planned.

Working outside of normal office hours is not required.

What you bring

  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
  • Preferred fields of study: Computer Science, Business Informatics, general STEM
  • Computer skills: JavaScript, node.js a plus, vue.js a plus, Git[Hub] a plus
  • Language skills: fluent in written and spoken German and English
  • Soft skills: Team player, creative, self-organized, persistent, curious and eager to learn new technologies, passionate about development
  • Others: own software projects of any kind are an advantage; previous node.js projects are an advantage
