What is The Role

We are looking for a dedicated Senior JavaScript Engineer to join the Kibana Management team and help make an immediate impact on the user experience for administrators of the Elastic platform. You will help deliver user interfaces that provide administrators a centralized way to view and manage their system. You will have the opportunity to work closely with product, design, and Elasticsearch engineers to build these intuitive experiences. This is a high-impact role, addressing the needs of some of our largest customers.

What You Will Be Doing

• Develop and maintain user-friendly applications using React and TypeScript.
• Partner with product managers, designers, and Elasticsearch back-end developers to build, test, and release features that improve users administrative experience.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews for your team and other teams.
• Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes.
• Mentor junior engineers on the team.

What You Bring

• You care deeply about the design and quality of the features you ship.
• 5+ years working in a frontend-focused role.
• Passionate about JavaScript or web development in general.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in a globally distributed team.
• Knowledge of Elasticsearch is a plus.
