We are looking for a highly skilled Backend Engineer (NodeJS) to join our team and play a crucial role in designing, developing, and optimizing scalable backend systems. You will work closely with frontend developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to build robust APIs and services that power our applications. Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Develop & Maintain Scalable APIs: Design, implement, and optimize RESTful and GraphQL APIs using Node.js and related frameworks.
• Database Management: Work with SQL and NoSQL databases to design efficient schemas, optimize queries, and ensure data consistency.
• Performance Optimization: Identify bottlenecks, optimize application performance, and ensure high availability of backend services.
• Cloud & DevOps: Deploy and manage services on AWS, GCP, or Azure, leveraging cloud-native tools for scalability and automation.
• Security & Compliance: Implement authentication, authorization, and data protection best practices.
• Collaboration & Code Reviews: Work with cross-functional teams to define and ship new features while maintaining clean and efficient code.
• Testing & Debugging: Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to maintain code quality and system reliability.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of backend development experience with Node.js.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and asynchronous programming.
• Proficiency in working with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis).
• Experience with message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar) for handling asynchronous operations.
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) for deployment and scaling.
• Experience with authentication and security best practices (OAuth, JWT, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for writing clean, maintainable code.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with serverless frameworks (AWS Lambda, Firebase Functions).
• Knowledge of event-driven architectures and WebSockets.
• Exposure to front-end frameworks like React.js or Angular for better API integration.
