  Position Overview
  We are seeking a talented and motivated Front-End Developer with expertise in Next.js and React to join our team. In this role, you will work on building and optimizing a dynamic, user-friendly user experience for our headless websites powered by Optimizely Configured Commerce and Optimizely Content Management System (CMS). Additionally, you will integrate and utilize a Digital Design Library (DDL) to ensure consistent and efficient design implementation across the platform.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize responsive front-end components using Next.js and React.
  • Collaborate with designers and backend developers to implement user interfaces that align with the brand's vision and business goals.
  • Integrate and enhance functionality with Optimizely Configured Commerce and Optimizely CMS to deliver a seamless user experience.
  • Utilize, maintain and contribute to the Digital Design Library (DDL) to ensure scalable, reusable, and visually consistent components.
  • Optimize web pages for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring compatibility across various devices and browsers.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure proper integration between front-end elements, the CMS, and commerce functionalities.
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues across the website, ensuring a smooth and reliable user experience.
  • Stay updated on the latest front-end development trends, tools, and best practices, applying them to enhance the platform.

  Qualifications

  Technical Skills:

  • 3+ years demonstrated proficiency in Next.js and React.js, including hooks, context API, and server-side rendering.
  • Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and tools such as Figma, Storybook or Adobe XD.
  • Experience with Optimizely Configured Commerce and Optimizely CMS (or similar platforms).
  • Strong understanding of front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.
  • Familiarity with headless CMS architectures and API-driven integrations.
  • Experience working with component-based libraries such as a Digital Design Library (DDL).
  • Proficiency in version control systems like Git.
  • Understanding of web performance optimization, accessibility standards, and SEO best practices.

  Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

  Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Familiarity with e-commerce workflows and integrations.
  • Experience with testing frameworks such as Katalon, Jest, React Testing Library, or similar.
  • Familiarity with Azure CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
