Role Overview
- With a focus on creating innovative tech and delivering impactful experiences, we are dedicated to the seamless art of software design and delivery and are looking for a Frontend Engineer with experience working with React, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS to join our dynamic and diverse engineering team. You will take an active part in the delivery of transformative products for our clients.
As a Frontend Engineer at Beyond, you’ll:
- Maintain and Develop new features for React (Next.js) applications leveraging GraphQL and headless content management systems
- Work with our clients to improve engineering practices, standards, and architectures and to be an expert in your craft
- Contribute to the strategy and growth of Beyond's highly diverse and skilled engineering team
- Build your soft skills in collaboration, communication, and client relationship management
- Co-create and work with different team members across the project, program, and agency to ensure quality is embedded at both the process and programme levels
- Gain knowledge in new business domains by helping build teams for the purposes of designing, developing, and delivering impactful solutions
Things that will make you stand out:
- An understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, mobile-first design and standards
- HTML5, CSS3, CSS pre and post-processors (SASS, PostCSS, Styled Components, BEM)
- Tailwind CSS framework
- Deep understanding of Typescript
- JavaScript, ES6+
- Extensive React experience
- Extensive Next.js experience (SSR + SSG)
- Experience with the React ecosystem
- Experience with Storybook
- Experience using GraphQL and working with headless content management systems
- Experience with i18n and building applications for many locales including right-to-left languages
- Experience writing well-structured and effective tests using Jest and other testing libraries and frameworks with solid code coverage
- Experience working with state management and large-scale data-driven applications
- Familiarity with authentication and authorization
- Work experience with React server-side rendering and abstraction
- Passion for developing intuitive user interfaces and implementing pixel-perfect layouts
- Experience with building tools such as Webpack
- Grasp of security principles and how they apply to web applications
- Experience with responsive web design
- API integration
- Customer focus with the ability to translate technical language to a broader audience
