Position Summary:

We are looking for a talented and creative Full Stack Software Engineer who is eager to learn and passionate about designing, implementing, integrating, and deploying scalable cloud software services. In this role, you will be part of a distributed engineering team working on a billing platform for the US insurance and healthcare sector. The project involves both backend and frontend development, including building configuration UIs and internal tools to support complex business workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform system analysis and collaborate with product managers and engineers to enhance existing and develop new software components.
• Design and implement user interfaces for internal configuration and management tools.
• Evaluate the trade-offs of different architectural and implementation approaches.
• Work closely with AWS Cloud Services.
• Create reliable, secure, and scalable APIs and UI components.
• Deliver high-quality, well-written code that is easily supported and maintainable.
• Build microservices and distributed, event-driven systems.
• Participate in all phases of the SDLC to ensure quality and performance.
• Self-manage timelines and communicate progress to the rest of the team.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• 4+ years of experience as a Backend Software Engineer, including 1–2 years of hands-on involvement in Full Stack or frontend development.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React or Angular).
• Familiarity with UI/UX principles and building responsive web interfaces.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Solid understanding of AWS services (IAM, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, VPC, Step Functions, DynamoDB, etc.).
• Experience developing and testing Web/Cloud-based services and applications.
• Experience with automated testing, preferably using the Jest framework.
• Familiarity with application monitoring and tracing tools (e.g., DataDog).
• Proficiency with Git, JIRA, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a distributed team.
