What you'll be doing

  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to translate our product and technical vision into a concrete roadmap, guiding the team towards success.
  • Architect, develop, test, and deploy significant customer-facing features and projects using cutting-edge tools and technologies. We expect this role to focus mainly on front-end development, with the ability to self-serve on the API side when working on a feature end-to-end. Our tech stack includes TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6/React), Node.js, Python (Django), PostgreSQL, and AWS.
  • Craft high-quality, thoroughly-tested code that meets the unique requirements of our clients, ensuring robustness and reliability.
  • Work closely with other engineers, both providing and receiving technical mentorship and guidance, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
  • Embrace an iterative approach, swiftly iterating on features and solutions based on valuable feedback from both our product team and clients, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with user needs.

In summary, you will play a pivotal role in driving our product development efforts forward, leveraging your technical expertise and leadership skills to deliver impactful solutions and foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Who we’re looking for

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our Build team in Product Engineering. An ideal candidate:

  • Possesses a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in developing production-ready software, demonstrating a proven track record of delivering robust and scalable solutions.
  • Exhibits expertise in steering front-end and full stack technical projects, adept at prioritizing tasks, defining requirements, and facilitating productive discussions within the team to drive informed technical decisions.
  • Brings to the table a collaborative mindset, fostering an environment of cooperation and shared success.
  • Demonstrates a remarkable ability to adapt swiftly to the evolving needs of our growing organization and dynamic product landscape, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Has strong command of client-side technologies, specifically JavaScript, React, and HTML/CSS, as well as server-side proficiency in Node.js.
  • Holds practical experience working with relational databases, ideally with PostgreSQL.

Nice to have:

  • Proficiency in TypeScript.
  • Experience maintaining and working with design systems and UI component libraries.
  • Experience working in Fintech or the financial services industry.
  • Proficiency in Python (Django).

This position has a salary range of $131,000 to $154,000. The base pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and region. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is also eligible for equity awards in the form of stock options (ISOs).
