Job Description

This project implements several new applications to improve the execution and monitoring of a real estate tax payment process. It also aims to replace several existing small tools with a single application that will provide better performance, increase security and lower maintenance costs.  

• You’ll work with new technologies (a wide range of Java technologies) and have a high level of autonomy in terms of architecture, technology selection and technological upgrades  
• Pair programming (60-90% of the time)  
• TDD and very high automated test coverage  
• You’ll be working with highly complex systems – applications are large and complicated, which presents a great opportunity to gain unique experience in maintaining this type of systems in the production environment

• Developing new functionalities  
• Creating product architecture   
• Conducting technical analysis and research for new initiatives  
• Performing code reviews  
• Supporting the development team by exchanging knowledge and skills  

Qualifications

Expectations – the experience you need 

• At least 1 year of commercial experience with React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript 
• Knowledge of REST and GIT 
• Ability to write and speak English at a B2+ level  
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a team  
• Practical experience with distributed systems and message queues  
• Understanding of CI/CD, SOLID, DDD and OOP principles  
• Openness to learn Java and Spring 

Additional skills – the edge you have

• Knowledge of serverless and event-driven architectures   
• Knowledge of Java will be a distinctive advantage
