Job Description

We are looking for a talented and motivated React Developer to help us expand our global analytics web application in a full-time role.  This role will have the opportunity to interface directly with our brokers, analysts, researchers and data scientists to drive out requirements and deliver a wide range of data related capabilities.

  • Key contributor on strategic web application for market data catalog administration and related data features
  • Participate in full development life cycle from definition to design to delivery
  • Work directly with our UI/UX designer and end users to drive our requirements and delivery value add features to the application
  • Meet aggressive deadlines with focus on quality and performance
  • Collaboration with global team including participation in daily scrum meetings, peer reviews and design sessions

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of React development (using TypeScript) with a thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
  • Prior experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and HTML / CSS
  • Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
  • Possess a knack for benchmarking and optimization
  • Awareness of continuous integration and delivery concepts/technologies
  • Experience working in an agile scrum development model
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Computer Science, MIS or related degree

•    This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines
•    Must be able to remain in a stationary position for constant / prolonged periods (80%) of time. 
•    Constant looking at computer screens
•    Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as calculator, copy machine / scanner, and computer printer
•    Frequently communicating with others to exchange information
