Our product & Development teams are always striving to deliver high-quality innovation across the domains in our platform and are always hungry for smart and driven teammates to join them and help us all move forward to a Bolder future! For our Templating domain, we are looking for an Experienced engineer to whom Canvas Rendering for the web holds no secrets.

You will be a part of one of our development teams and work directly with other developers, DevOps Engineers, and Product Owners.

Your role will revolve around all the different elements that will bring our Canvas based web editor into that future. This includes implementing new features, scaling existing capabilities, and making our product more amazing every day for all our users.

The team works in sprints where goals are always a combination of product roadmap features and your team’s own technology input. That way we make sure we always keep our technology modern and our product on track!

Key responsibilities:

  • Building new features and technological innovations in our Template Builder Editor as part of one of our Development Teams
  • Work on integrating visualization frameworks such as D3, Three.js, or WebGL into the platform.
  • Understand and help define our platform's technology together with the team
  • Challenge our product and team members to continuously develop themselves and our product.
  • Develop documentation and technical specifications related to the platform's graphics capabilities.

Requirements

Key Requirements:

  • Expert in JavaScript: Profound knowledge of JavaScript, including modern features like ES6 syntax, Promises, Async/Await, and more, is fundamental.
  • HTML5 Canvas: Deep understanding of how to leverage the HTML5 canvas API to draw graphics, animate elements, and handle user interaction.
  • WebGL: Working knowledge of WebGL for rendering complex 3D graphics and optimizing performance.
  • Graphics Algorithms: Knowledge of graphics algorithms and mathematical concepts related to graphics (e.g., vector mathematics, geometry, etc.).
  • Browser Rendering: Familiarity with how browsers render web pages and how to use this knowledge to optimize canvas rendering.
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience working as a JS Developer
  • You're pro-active, result-driven, and excited to work in a fast-growing tech scale-up
  • You're a team player and like to work together to reach our goals

Nice to have:

  • Experience with creating scalable frontend architecture
  • Experience with UI component frameworks
  • Experience with micro frontends
  • Understand back-end development and APIs and how to effectively consume them (REST, GraphQL)
