Summary
As a Senior Engineer on our New Channel Growth team, you’ll play a key role in shaping the technical direction and solutions for our user acquisition and conversion initiatives. You’ll be a hands-on technical leader, working closely with the Engineering Manager, Product Manager, and cross-functional teams to drive innovation and deliver impactful solutions.
Our team owns multiple technologies, including a WordPress CMS-based website and Node.js/React applications. Your leadership and expertise will guide the team in solving complex challenges while ensuring technical excellence and scalable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate daily with engineers to design, develop, and optimize scalable web applications.
- Support large-scale projects by driving technical planning, breaking down work, and guiding execution.
- Communicate proactively with leadership to surface risks, challenges, and solutions.
- Advocate for engineering best practices (code reviews, testing strategies, CI/CD, observability).
- Act as a mentor and technical guide to foster growth and learning within the team.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders, marketing, SEO, analytics to drive conversion and growth initiatives.
- Explore emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions for the team.
Must Have:
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong expertise in React, Node.js (Express/Fastify), and GraphQL.
- Strong experience in browser-based web testing and unit test coverage (coverage reporting, CI integration, etc.).
- 4+ years of experience in Node.js.
- 3+ years of experience with React.js.
- Strong experience in API development, service-oriented architectures, and scalable web apps.
- Proven experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL preferred) and data modeling.
- Expertise in modern front-end/back-end technologies, including optimization and observability.
- Familiarity with microfrontend architecture.Strong knowledge of testing, debugging, CI/CD, and secure coding practices.
- Comfortable in Agile environments with solid experience in technical project planning.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) with ability to influence and mentor.
- Solution-oriented mindset with adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies.

- Interest in AI-powered tools for engineering workflows or user-facing features.
- Familiarity with TypeScript, Python/Django.
