We are looking for an experienced front-end engineer to join our platform team focusing on AI/ML Platform (AMP). This team builds and maintains central components to fast-track the development of new ML/AI models, such as model development studio, model serving, AI governance, and model observability.
The ideal candidate would have a background in building front-end applications integrating with the REST APIs implemented by backend engineers. You will collaborate with other full-stack engineers and MLOps engineers in the team to build end-to-end web applications to handle internal user workflows. As an important contributor to our engineering team, you will help shape the future of our AI/ML capabilities, delivering solutions that inspire value for our organization. You will report to the manager.
Responsibilities
Integrating with data portal with micro-front-end architecture
Adding new widgets, forms, pages. Converting mock UI designs into implementations.
Ownership: Taking end-to-end ownership at the feature level
Troubleshooting: Handling support requests from internal customers, troubleshooting issues and timely communication
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate across diverse teams, including MLOps engineers, full-stack engineers, DevOps, Product managers, software architects fostering a collaborative and cohesive work environment
Minimum Qualifications
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
Experience: Over 3 years of experience in software development and engineering, delivering production systems and services
Prior knowledge of front-end frameworks such as React, TypeScript, Javascript.
Exposure to UI component libraries (mantine or equivalent)
Basic understanding of CSS, html
Understanding of unit testing, functional testing, test automations.
Ability to work independently and develop web application front ends, micro-front ends.
Willingness to learn continuously into backend, cloud engineering, MLOps to also contribute to other initiatives in the team.
Demonstrated creative problem-solving skills with the ability to break down problems into manageable components
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, fostering teamwork and effective information exchange
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of CI/CD such as Jenkins
Experience operating on AWS
