Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and technically versatile Full Stack Developer with expertise in React and WordPress who can also take on a leadership role within a small, agile team. This position requires not just strong coding skills, but also the ability to lead, plan, and take ownership of technical delivery, aligning with UI/UX design, business goals, and DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain frontend applications using React and content management via WordPress.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and business stakeholders to translate designs and business requirements into Jira stories.
• Coordinate and ensure smooth integration of backend and frontend components.
• Work with Azure DevOps and/or GitHub for code versioning, CI/CD, and task tracking.
• Manage and configure resources within the Azure Portal for web applications and related services.
• Ensure application security and quality by implementing vulnerability management practices (using tools like Mend, Coverity, Microsoft Defender).
• Contribute to and lead Scrum ceremonies; participate in agile planning and execution.
• Take initiative to drive technical decisions, create roadmaps, and align the team towards achieving business goals.
• Lead by example with a T-shaped skillset, supporting other areas outside your core expertise when needed.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of strong hands-on experience in React and JavaScript development.
• Solid experience with WordPress and custom plugin development or theming.
• Proven ability to write clear and actionable Jira stories from UI/UX designs and business inputs.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams and coordinating frontend/backend synchronization.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps, GitHub, and general DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud infrastructure, including deployment and resource management.
• Knowledge of vulnerability scanning and remediation using tools like Mend (WhiteSource), Coverity, and Microsoft Defender.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams with a collaborative mindset.
• Excellent communication skills with a leadership mindset able to take initiative, propose solutions, and drive team alignment.
