The Krakow Alta Video Team team is looking for an experienced, self-driven Web developer to join our team to help to develop our Web apps written in Vue3 and TypeScript. Experience with these technologies is not required, but would be very beneficial. The most important thing is that you are willing to learn and passionate about frontend Web development.
Our UIs incorporate a wide range of interesting and technically challenging features that you will help to shape and improve:
Rendering high resolution video in a performance critical environment
Working with large volumes of data in a performant way
Designing and implementing new UI components
Investigating and improving performance and scalability as new features are added
The role involves working closely with a team of Avigilon Alta developers based in London and backend developers located in Krakow. We are looking for a team player who enjoys solving complex problems and thrives working autonomously, while not afraid to ask for input and learn from their teammates if they’re stuck.

Specific Knowledge/Skills:
Passion about modern web development, with experience in either JavaScript or TypeScript
Experience with modern Web frameworks such as Vue, React, Svelte, or Angular
Willingness to design and implement new functionalities in close collaboration with colleagues who work with product, user experience and backend
Being keen on to improve and optimize our application in terms of maintainability, performance and security - both from customer feedback and based on your initiative and proactive approach
Attitude of staying up to date on technology and ability to suggest short-term and long-term improvements
Proficiency in English
Optional Qualifications:
Practical usage of Vue for multiple years - an understanding of both options and composition APIs
Experience with using advanced Typescript features
Experience with testing applications using frameworks such as Vitest, Jest, Mocha, or Cypress
Past involvement in designing and working on large web applications, managing large amounts of data in a performant way
Knowledge of using metrics frameworks
