Responsibilities:

• Gain functional knowledge of the business
• Analyze, design, and implement software solutions
• Understand the business processes necessary to interact with the user community, functional resources, and technical teams
• Provide technical expertise in software coding and develop applications following the requirements
• Comply with standards and best practices software development, and produce quality code
• Develop and maintain unit and integration acceptance tests
• Improve system quality by identifying issues and common patterns
• Enhance applications by identifying opportunities for improvement
• Make recommendations in design and implementation of systems
• Maintain and improve existing codebases and peer review code changes
• Investigate and use new technologies where relevant
• Provide written knowledge transfer material
• Collaboration with dedicated application support team

Qualifications

Required: 

• Experience developing web-based client/server applications built with React, ECMAscript (Javascript) and TypeScript
• Strong understanding of OOP concepts, architecture, and design
• Exposure to OOP in JavaScript and prototypal inheritance
• Hands-on software engineering development experience
• Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-paced environment to meet client deadlines
• Strong technical, organizational, analytical skills, problem-solving skills and high attention to detail 
• Highly developed written and strong oral communication skills to express ideas and collaborate with the team
• Flexibility in working hours according to business needs

Preferred: 

• Experience working with Microsoft’s .NET Framework (C# language)
• Working skills with Microsoft SQL Server (including programming stored procedures and functions in T- SQL)
• Knowledge of RESTful API services
• Experience with microservice based architectures
• Exposure to Git, Azure DevOps (previously VSTS)
• Exposure to MongoDB.
