Our team is seeking an experienced Angular/UI developer with real-world experience to join the Broadridge Investor Communication Services (ICS) Development organization as a consultant to develop new enterprise applications. The successful candidate will be passionate about web development; take ownership of assigned projects; possess a desire to learn innovative ways and technologies; be able to work in a fast-paced, multi-project environment. The successful candidate will participate in all phases of the project including requirements, design, development, deployment, and maintenance.

Work-Mode: We are made up of high performing teams that meet in person to learn and collaborate as needed.  This role is considered hybrid, which means you’ll be assigned to a Broadridge office and given the flexibility to work remotely.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work with product line managers, business users, and other members of the team to understand software requirements and author code that satisfies those requirements.
  • Produce high quality code developed using sound computer science principles
  • Convert approved mockups to working prototypes using Angular Components and Typescript.
  • Develop unit tests and feature test scripts.
  • Develop application which is using Angular 10 or later
  • Implement UI code and assets into programming environments (.Net).
  • Ensure development is in accordance with corporate branding (style guides and other requirements.)
  • Ensure all web views function as expected across supported browsers. Assist with browser compatibility issues as they arise.
  • Assist with identifying and evaluating new technologies and methodologies.
  • Work optimally on multiple tasks
  • Demonstrate flexibility and resourcefulness by being willing to tackle any development task required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, or equivalent education and experience
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with various methodologies, design patterns, refactoring techniques, and development standard methodologies.
  • 5-6 years’ experience as a web developer
  • Solid experience (5+ years) in TypeScript and JavaScript development
  • Good experience (3+ years) developing in Angular 10 or later framework and Node JS.
  • Solid understanding of CSS/SCSS/HTML/JSON/XML
  • Experience in consuming backend Restful services (3+ year).
  • Experience developing web applications using Agile (Scrum) SDLC.
  • Experience with full software lifecycle and deploying applications to Production.
  • Cross-browser compatibility and testing: Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Safari,
  • Experience using browser developer tools.
  • Superb communication and inter-personal skills.
  • Strong documentation skills required.
  • Enjoys working in a highly effective, deadline driven, and fast-paced team environment.
  • Demonstrates creative problem skills, dedication to excellence, and has a results-oriented spirit.
