Job Description

We are looking for an Angular Engineer for our offices in Patras.

Your main duties will be: 

• Log, categorize and prioritize incidents, requests, problems and changes
• Perform troubleshooting, answer user queries, search the root cause of problems and implement changes
• Resolve Incidents, Requests, Problems
• Escalate the tickets to the correct high level of service support where needed
• Contribute to maximizing first-line resolution (coaching, maintaining knowledge base, recording findings from the resolution of incidents for future use etc.)
• Control service and systems capacities
• Ensure that the required security level is maintained
• Participate in some project activities, like writing administrative, Installation, user guides
• Participate in creating step by step Standard Operational Procedures
• Contribute to improve the service
• Investigate new technologies to optimize the work of the support team

Qualifications

If you have:

• University degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
• Knowledge and experience in the interoperability domain based on Web Services (REST, SOAP)
• Capability of rapid self-starting, learning and of integration in an international/multi-cultural environment
• Good command of the English Language (written & verbal)

It would also be a plus if you had:

• ITIL foundation certified (and proven experience with ITIL processes).
• Experience in agile projects in relation with the following development, continuous integration and quality tools: GIT, JIRA, Bamboo, Fisheye, Crucible, Confluence
• Knowledge and experience of workflows system architecture
• Work experience with Typescript, Angular 6+, XML and JSON manipulation, Web Component, Service workers, HTML5, Node JS, NPM
• Knowledge and experience on search engines
• Basic understanding of DevOps, Microservices Architecture

Could be a plus:

• Knowledge of JavaScript ES6 and higher versions
• Knowledge of JEE technology platform and specifically in the following standards and at least one of the related implementations: JAX-WS, JAXRS, JMS, AOP, EJB, JSR303, JPA2, Servlet 2.3 -> 3.0
• Experience with API Gateway (WSO2 Manager)
• Experience with KAFKA
