We design experiences in close collaboration with our end-users as well as other designers. The CX Unit is a diverse group of people from different nationalities and backgrounds. As an Experience Designer, you have the freedom and confidence to take big design decisions in your Product Area and Product Team, which naturally comes with great responsibility. Job Description

The position of Experience Designers is within the Production Function. The mission is to create an effective, sustainable and resilient sourcing platform for the H&M Group. We partner with brands and businesses to support customer demands and enable group synergies. From a user experience perspective, we are now embarking on a huge transformation journey, and we need your help to succeed! 

What will you do? 

  • You will join one of the teams - "Physical on Product Information” or “Production Flow”. 
  • “Physical on Product Information” team is enabling all internal users with automated labelling content powered by AI and ML. 
  • “Production Flow” team is working on a collaboration platform for our end-users to create transparency in the process from order placement to delivery. 

We have the ambition to secure product availability and customer trust in H&M group’s supply chain. A great opportunity to collaborate with stakeholders across the business impacting product decisions across all brands within the H&M Group, with your design craft, empathy, and customer-focused mindset! 

You will also be:  

  • Responsible for communicating customer and user needs in the product context 
  • Research user behaviors, validate concepts with end users and turn insights into value-adding products and services  
  • Defining future visions based on customer insights, business goals & KPIs plus technical possibilities. 
  • Developing new value propositions and concepts and conducting concept testing 
  • Defining intuitive flows, delivering clear wireframes, interaction design and low and high-fidelity prototypes 
  • Iteratively testing solutions with customers to improve designs. Agile end-user insights 
  • Setting user experience metrics together with the product team. Tracking reports on the success of UX improvements, including analytics, and turning them into new ideas and improvements
  • Ensuring accessible and inclusive design standards are met
  • Overall advocating user-centered design solution 

Qualifications

Skills and Abilities: 

  • Experience of 6-9 years in total as a Product Designer. Ability to facilitate e.g. Design Sprints and other collaborative workshops with stakeholders and ability to simplify the complex issues 
  • Experience in B2B markets and SaaS products required.
  • Ability to be a true team player willing to share your insights and experience with the rest of the product team 
  • Ability to understand the user’s needs, motivations, behaviors and translate them into actionable deliverables through strong conceptual thinking 
  • Ability to collaborate as part of an agile team to ensure designs are feasible and implemented accurately 
  • Lean UX Methods, moving from idea to code as fast as possible 
  • User-centered design principles & methods 
  • Problem-solving, design thinking and design strategy 
  • Ability to translate qualitative and quantitative user data into actionable insights 
  • Ability to plan & conduct qualitative usability research and recruit participants to user tests. 

Functional Knowledge: Individual designers may not possess all skills below but should demonstrate deep expertise in 2 or more areas:

  • Figma 
  • Miro 
  • User Zoom (User Testing) 
  • Similar tools: Framer X, Invision, Zeplin, Protopie, Adobe XD 
  • HTML, CSS and JavaScript, JavaScript frameworks and libraries like Angular.js and React.js is a plus.
