WHAT WILL YOU DO
Design and develop high-quality UI components and elements using React and Next.js with TypeScript
Collaborate with designers to translate design concepts into functional front-end code
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability
Maintain and improve the existing codebase, ensuring it is well-documented and easy to understand
Work with back-end developers to integrate front-end and back-end components seamlessly
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in front-end development and design
WE EXPECT YOU TO HAVE
Proven experience as a Front-End Developer with a strong design focus
Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Experience with front-end frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js, Next.js)
Knowledge of CSS pre-processors (e.g., SASS, LESS)
Strong understanding of responsive design principles
Ability to create pixel-perfect designs and implement them into functional code
Familiarity with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
Experience with working with API integrations
NICE TO HAVE
Experience with front-end build tools (e.g., Webpack, Gulp)
Experience with testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Jest, Cypress)
SEO basics know-how (understand featured snippets, schema)
Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices
Experience with documentation tools like Storybook
