As a Frontend Engineer, you'll work with our product team to build new functionality and polish the existing product from start to finish. You'll contribute to the production process, exploring options to solve our customers' needs, thinking through UX, and ultimately implementing highly impactful UIs.
Our frontend is built in React and GraphQL and deployed using Netlify.
What you’ll do at RenoFi
- Work with React and GraphQL
- Work with Styled Components
- Work with Github and Netlify for CI/CD
- Collaborate with team members in Design and QA
- Test your code using code and no-code test frameworks
- Identify and resolve issues using Sentry / LogRocket
- Identify tech debt and propose improvement plans to our tech stack
- Performance optimisation
- Participate in on-call rotations as required by the team lead
- Be an active participant as part of our agile ceremonies

What you'll bring to the team
- 4 to 6 years working with frontend related technologies
- Proficiency with React and modern front-end web techniques, writing well-tested web applications
- Experience with automated testing (unit/integration/e2e)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, we enjoy working with active participants and not passive listeners. We don't expect you to write essays but to be able to understand and make yourself understood in both product and technical terms

The demand for home renovations has never been stronger, yet, it's surprisingly difficult for a new homeowner to renovate. It can take a decade to build up enough home equity and savings to pay for a major renovation.
