Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of Progressive Web Apps using Vue.js, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineers to define and implement PWA features and functionality.
• Utilize Vue.js to create efficient and reusable components and modules that align with PWA principles.
• Optimize applications for performance, ensuring fast load times, smooth interactions, and responsive design across various devices and network conditions.
• Implement service workers, caching strategies, and offline support to enable seamless user experiences in offline or low-connectivity scenarios.
• Work closely with back-end engineers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic and APIs.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in PWA technologies and Vue.js to recommend improvements and innovative solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers on PWA best practices and Vue.js development.
• Collaborate with QA teams to identify and address front-end issues and bugs, ensuring robust application functionality.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, identify opportunities for optimization, and enforce coding standards.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and decisions to enhance the scalability, modularity, and maintainability of applications.
• Research and implement emerging front-end and PWA trends to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Proven track record (3-6 years) of developing and optimizing Progressive Web Apps using Vue.js.
• Strong proficiency in Vue.js, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• In-depth understanding of PWA principles, service workers, caching strategies, and offline support.
• Experience with responsive and mobile-first design, ensuring exceptional user experiences across various devices.
• Proficiency in RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Solid understanding of front-end build tools such as Webpack, Babel, and npm.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and debug complex front-end issues.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Previous experience in a senior or lead role is a plus.
• Passion for staying updated with the latest front-end and PWA trends and technologies.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and agile development environment.
