We are seeking an experienced and mission-driven Senior Mobile Developer to be part of our Phoenix's first mobile team! You’ll collaborate closely with our cofounders and cross-functional teams to create intuitive, impactful mobile experiences for patients and physicians. This role will involve translating complex healthcare workflows into user-friendly, scalable mobile solutions. We're looking for the type of mobile dev that enjoys problem-solving, thrives on collaboration, and takes pride in delivering polished, meaningful products.
Be the leader of the design, architecture, and building process for cross-platform mobile applications using React Native
Collaborate with the product, design, and development teams to create seamless user experiences for both patient- and physician-facing interfaces
Translate complex healthcare workflows into intuitive and user-friendly mobile experiences
Take ownership of feature development from concept to deployment
Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code with a focus on performance and usability
Lead and determine architectural decisions and mobile strategy
Lead sprint planning, code reviews, and technical discussions regarding cross-platform mobile applications
Advocate for mobile best practices, accessibility, and performance improvements
Help shape our development culture by mentoring peers and sharing knowledge
8+ years of professional software development experience
3+ years of professional hands-on experience with React Native
Strong understanding of mobile design principles
Experience integrating mobile apps with backend API services
Experience with Expo
