We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in Node.js and AWS services — someone results-oriented, collaborative, and capable of generating impact from the outset.

The project focuses on migrating the company’s Core to the AWS cloud, aiming to modernize the technological infrastructure, improve scalability, and optimize service response times. You will play a key role in the process, contributing to both the architecture and implementation of modern backend services.

This is you

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Node.js using JavaScript and preferably TypeScript.5+ years working with relational and NoSQL databases.

• 3+ years of experience with AWS cloud services, including:
  • Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, API Gateway, and EKS with microservices.
  • Tools like CloudFormation, SAM, or Serverless Framework.
• Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining REST APIs and distributed services.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies (SCRUM and/or KANBAN).
• Proficient with Git, GitLab, Jira, Confluence, Visual Studio Code, Postman, Terminal.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain and coordinate solutions within a team.
• High level of ownership, autonomy, and a proactive mindset.

Nice-to-have skills:

• Experience with legacy systems integration (e.g., OSB, COBOL).
• Background in FinTech or similar regulated industries.
• Prior experience mentoring or supporting other developers technically.

This is your role

• Replace legacy integrations with scalable Node.js services, using AWS tools and services.
• Actively contribute to the migration of the company’s Core to AWS, ensuring efficiency and documentation.
• Design and implement REST APIs and distributed backend services.
• Ensure development best practices in line with team standards.
• Participate in code reviews and foster technical excellence.
• Provide technical guidance and support to teammates, encouraging collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Propose and drive improvements across the platform, maintaining focus on performance and scalability.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure clarity of ideas and alignment of goals.
