About the role
We seek a dynamic and skilled professional for a Senior React Engineer position who will contribute to designing and maintaining user-friendly web applications. The ideal candidate can demonstrate a proven track record of implementing and enhancing features using up-to-date front-end frameworks. This position provides an exciting opportunity for you to leverage your engineering expertise, ensuring our projects meet high usability and performance standards.

What you’ll be doing

  • Producing clean, efficient, readable, maintainable, and scalable code based on specifications;
  • Analyzing functional requirements and adjusting technical requirements as needed;
  • Participating in designing features' architecture in collaboration with the team;
  • Proactively identifying and communicating potential issues that may be caused by chosen path or planned development;
  • Estimating tasks and works to meet deadlines, reporting on time on any necessary rescheduling or changes to deadlines;
  • Following common coding approaches and practices;
  • Testing the functionality of all code/components/applications to ensure it works;
  • Creating the technical documents for reference and reporting, keeping them updated;
  • Upgrading the new and existing solutions if needed;
  • Conducting code reviews for team members to ensure quality and consistency.

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;
  • 5+ years of professional experience in front-end software development;
  • In-depth knowledge of React, including hooks, component lifecycle, context, and best practices.
  • Experience with both Pages Router and App Router, including Server Actions and advanced routing strategies.
  • Strong proficiency with TypeScript, including interfaces, type aliases, generics, and enums.
  • Hands-on experience with Chakra UI (v3 knowledge is a plus) or similar component libraries.
  • Experience with Zustand or similar lightweight state management libraries.
  • Proficient in using react-hook-form for complex form handling.
  • Familiarity with libraries like Ramda for functional programming paradigms is a plus.
  • Experience with React Testing Library, Jest, MSW (unit, integration, e2e).
  • Capable of designing and implementing comprehensive test plans to ensure product quality.
  • Skilled in using validation libraries such as Yup or Zod.
  • Strong commitment to code correctness, security, and reliability.
  • Knowledge of code splitting, tree shaking, lazy loading, and optimization techniques.
  • Familiarity with performance metrics like LCP, FCP, and CLS, and tools such as Lighthouse and Web Vitals.
  • Practical experience with GraphQL APIs.
  • Proficient in using URQL or Apollo Client for efficient data management.
  • Experience with setting up and maintaining front-end CI/CD pipelines for streamlined development and deployment.
  • Basic understanding of Docker in development workflows.
  • Experience building and maintaining reusable third-party packages.Proficient with Git, including branching, PR management, and conflict resolution.
  • Ability to take full responsibility for feature delivery, from planning through implementation and maintenance.
  • Proactive approach to maintaining project health, dependencies, and tooling.
  • Experience mentoring less experienced developers and working effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Capability to design and implement tailored front-end solutions that meet specific business requirements.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling clear technical discussion and collaboration.
  • Skilled in building user-friendly, accessible, and high-performance interfaces.
  • Understanding of user onboarding patterns using contextual help, tooltips, or auxiliary UI elements.
  • Experience translating designs into functional, reusable components in close cooperation with the design team.
  • Ability to create and maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines consistently.
  • Demonstrated ability to stay up-to-date with evolving technologies and industry standards.
  • Willingness to explore and adopt new tools and frameworks to improve development workflows and team productivity.

Nice to have

  • Experience generating and rendering PDFs programmatically.
  • Familiarity with AG Grid or other advanced data grid libraries.
  • Understanding of secure coding practices and common front-end vulnerabilities (e.g., XSS, CSRF).
  • Awareness of a11y principles and experience implementing i18n/l10n.
  • Comfortable using remote collaboration tools (Slack, Jira, Notion, etc.).
