RESPONSIBILITIES
You will build out features to enable a user to quickly and easily disseminate the complex question of what scientific instruments we support and how
You will build out and develop a platform that enables users to quickly get access to a virtualized environment for a given scientific application. The virtualized environment can then be used for analysis, prototyping, testing and more.
You will incrementally add to and maintain a fleet of so called virtual instruments, and with innovative solutions continue to shorten time to value
You will build out core functionality that supercharges both our sales teams as well as internal development teams in their day-to-day work
REQUIREMENTS
Must have
A curious and fast learner who is equally comfortable working in NodeJs/Typescript and Bash.. Previous experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres and/or MySQL.
Must have in-depth knowledge of AWS and its various sets of services. In particular ECS, EC2, IAM, S3, Networking, CloudFormation, SSM, Cognito and the AWS Directory Service. Proven experience designing and building cloud-based software applications, and infrastructure-as-code using CloudFormation
Proven experience building out various levels of test automation, such as unit, integration, UI and end-to-end tests. Familiar with behavioral driven development and Gherkin.
in-depth knowledge working with a range of CI/CD tooling such as GitHub/GitHub Actions, Bitbucket, GitLab, TeamCity, Jenkins, Octopus Deploy and/or Azure DevOps. Proven experience building reusable and easily maintainable CI/CD pipelines and components.
Great interpersonal skills and an ability to coordinate and drive initiatives supporting multiple teams
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
Previous experience working with Windows based applications and systems
