Job Description

Role: Sr. Angular Developer

Location: Remote (Buffalo, NY/Ontario) Needs to work in the EST time zone.

Duration: 12 + months contract

This position will be focused on designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using Angular framework. This individual will need to possess a deep knowledge of Angular concepts, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, along with a strong understanding of software development principles and best practices.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze project needs, and provide technical expertise.

Design and develop robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications using Angular framework.

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following coding standards and best practices.

Implement responsive and user-friendly UI components using HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap/PrimeNG.

Consume RESTful APIs to integrate backend services with front-end applications.

Optimize application performance and enhance user experience through efficient code and UI/UX improvements.

Conduct code reviews, identify bugs, and implement appropriate fixes and enhancements.

Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to Angular and web development.

Mentor and provide guidance to junior developers, assisting in their technical growth and problem-solving abilities.

Collaborate with team to ensure the quality of the software through testing and bug fixing.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in Angular development, with a strong portfolio demonstrating successful project implementations.
  • Proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3, with a deep understanding of web standards and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Strong knowledge of Angular concepts such as components, services, modules, routing, and RXJS.
  • Experience in developing responsive web applications using component libraries (such as Boostrap or PrimeNG).
  • Familiarity with modern front-end build tools, package managers (e.g., Webpack, npm), and version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and experience in consuming and integrating them into Angular applications.
  • Ability to write efficient, optimized, and scalable code, considering performance, security, and maintainability aspects.
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., Jasmine, Karma) and end-to-end testing tools (e.g., Protractor) for Angular applications.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Experience working with Git/GitLab (forking, branching, merging, CI/CD deployments, etc.)
  • Experience working as a member of an agile software development team (e.g. participating in planning, story development, and reviews)
