AutogenAI changes how people write. We're busy creating a new kind of product where users collaborate with Artificial Intelligence to produce relevant, impactful bid proposals. Our SaaS bid writing application launched in October and already has a great product-market fit, with over £2.5m ARR and has recently received a £17m Series A investment. We are growing at an explosive rate, and need to continue meeting the needs of our end users as we evolve our platform in a fast-changing environment.

We are looking for mid to senior level developers with fluency in TypeScript, Node.JS and React. This role would benefit from full-stack development experience, but we'd be open to developers with either strong React knowledge or strong backend knowledge.

The salary range is £60-80K with hybrid working two days a week in our collaborative London office.

Responsibilities

• Work with other developers, product and design staff, customer success and end users to identify needs and define incremental improvements
• Build and maintain cloud-based services
• Contribute to engineering standards, tooling, processes, and culture
• Assist in triaging and resolving production issues

To succeed in the role, you will need to be excited to work on a product that is growing and evolving quickly, and where your priorities may need to change as we learn more. A crucial skill will be the ability to break large pieces of functionality into smaller increments that are quick to deliver and provide value to end users. We will also need you to be able to adhere to modern devops-style practices. Practices we follow include frequent incremental deployment using CI/CD, short cycle times, infrastructure as code and a focus on properly understanding what is needed before delivering it.

Requirements

You must have:

• 3+ years programming experience, with solid experience in TypeScript and Node.js.
• Write readable, well-tested, easily maintainable code by default, and understand why this is important.
• Good knowledge of at least one of:
  • Web development (HTML, client side JS, accessibility etc)
  • Backend Systems (API design, implementation & testing, SQL, caching etc)
• Strong communication skills, a bias to action and experiment, and the flexibility to adapt to evolving requirements.

Bonus points if you have experience in:

• Python - we use this for data / ML applications.
• AI-powered online services, NLP / LLMs / prompt engineering.
• SaaS text or document creation and management.
• Full Stack development
• Our Stack (React, NestJS, SQL, AWS, Terraform)
