Job Description

As a JavaScript Front-End Developer for our ERP team, you will be responsible for designing and developing the user interface components of our ERP software. Requires proficiency coding utilizing JavaScript.  You will collaborate closely with the UX/UI designers, back-end developers, and other cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless and delightful user experience. Your expertise in front-end technologies, attention to detail, and passion for creating intuitive interfaces will be instrumental in delivering a high-quality ERP system that meets the needs of our diverse clientele.

Responsibilities:

  • Proficiency coding utilizing JavaScript within React, Angular, Vue.js frameworks.
  • Develop new user-facing features and enhancements for the ERP application using modern front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
  • Optimize application performance to ensure smooth and responsive user interactions, considering factors such as loading times and rendering efficiency.
  • Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility of the ERP platform, adhering to web standards and best practices.
  • Implement responsive design principles to deliver an exceptional user experience across different screen sizes and devices.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of front-end components to identify and resolve any issues or bugs.
  • Collaborate with the back-end development team to integrate front-end components with server-side logic seamlessly.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in front-end development and incorporate them into the ERP platform where applicable.
  • Assist in conducting usability and performance testing, gathering user feedback, and making improvements based on the findings.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to established coding standards.
  • Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and back-end developers to understand project requirements and translate them into well-structured front-end solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Proven experience as a Front-End Developer, building complex web applications or ERP systems.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and various front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
  • Solid understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
  • Familiarity with server-side development and ability to collaborate with back-end developers to integrate front-end and back-end components.
  • Experience in optimizing front-end performance and knowledge of best practices for improving loading times and rendering efficiency.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to identify and resolve front-end issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and code collaboration tools.
  • Knowledge of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles is a plus.
  • Passion for learning and staying updated with the latest trends and technologies in the front-end development field.

Compensation:

  • $60,000-$65,000

Interco has been recycling computers, batteries, metals, and electronics with a focused track record of innovation and integrity since 1996. The company specializes in the placement of smelter-ready materials catering to commercial, industrial, dealer, and government organizations nationwide.  

The Interco recycling facilities are separated into three departments: nonferrous metals, computers and electronics, and battery processing. The nonferrous facility is located on the 40-acre main campus in Madison (IL) while the computers and electronics are processed in Edwardsville where the Administrative and some logistics offices are located. The commercial department is located on The Hill in St. Louis. 

The patent-pending 22-acre 225,000 sqft Critical Mineral Recovery™ Lithium-ion battery processing plant in Fredericktown, Missouri is scheduled to open in Q3 2023
