COMPENSATION: Commensurate based on experience.

SUMMARY: Responsible for creating and maintaining mobile applications using React Native and the latest supporting technologies. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

The successful candidate will need to be an excellent problem solver with solid experience in React Native mobile app development, JavaScript, ES6, React, and relational databases. Candidates will receive special consideration for experience in native iOS and Android development. Attention to detail is critical to be successful in this position.

Requirements

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science preferred (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 3+ years of development experience in React Native mobile applications
• Minimum 2+ years of experience with JavaScript development
• Minimum 2+ years of experience with relational databases
• Minimum 1+ year of experience with front-end development. 
• Experience with n-tier applications, frameworks, mobile, responsive design, HTML5, and UX development is preferred. 

CERTIFICATIONS, LISCENSES, & REGISTRATIONS: Zend Certified Engineer, highly preferred.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must have proven problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and have a positive attitude. 

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS: To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to withstand long periods of sitting and looking at a computer monitor for approximately 8+ hours daily.
