We are looking to bring on a highly skilled and experienced Senior Frontend Engineer to play a key role in our team, working closely with the product team to bring new features and ideas to fruition. The core projects consist of building out portals to be used by internal and external users, extending existing internal libraries shared across multiple applications and platforms, and demystifying complex data through thoughtful visualization.

Responsibilities Include:

• Develop and maintain our user and internal portals built with TypeScript and React.
• Helping to maintain multiple internally shared libraries which involves an understanding of bundling, publishing, and maintaining NPM packages.
• Collaborate closely with the product team to design and develop new features.
• Implement data visualization projects, transforming complex data into understandable, actionable items.
• Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to improve overall code quality.
• Troubleshoot issues on the fly in real time both solo and with other members of the team (including those not on EDP).
• Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our platform remains current.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with TypeScript
  • Deep understanding of generics and complex type building
• 4+ years of experience with React
• 7+ years of experience with JavaScript
• Proven experience as a Frontend Developer or similar role.
• Experience with data visualization inside a web application.
• Strong familiarity with modern tooling including GitHub actions, AWS Elasticity and containers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
