Waracle is looking for a Senior React Developer to join us on a permanent basis.

In your time at Waracle, you may work on a variety of projects. We have a practical approach to how you work best and also the project requirements. This is a hybrid role working from the Glasgow office, with an expectation of working at the client spot from time to time.

As a Senior React Developer, your responsibilities will include:

• Create front-end elements from scratch against a product definition document.

• Work closely with backend and cloud developers to integrate front-end services with the backend for data flow.

• Working in a modular fashion reusing components as efficiently as possible.

• Integrating front-end applications with API’s.

• Collaborate with designers to design and implement accessible and user-friendly UI.

• Create unit and integration tests, ensuring high quality and reliability of code.

Requirements

• Expertise in ReactJS and Typescript

• Strong experience in state management libraries such as Redux.

• Solid understanding of Git.

• Strong understanding of Rest Services and RESTful API’s

• Experience or knowledge of cloud platforms would be an advantage.

• Experience working in a CI/CD environment.

• Ability to lead technical discussions with stakeholders and non-technical team members.

• Background working within greenfield development, with rapidly changing requirements
