Your Mission

We are looking for a talented Senior Frontend Engineer to join our dynamic team and help shape the future of our osapiens HUB. In this role, you will be pivotal in designing, developing, and refining the architecture of our frontend services. You will lead the way in delivering scalable, high-quality React-based solutions, ensuring that our enterprise-grade platform continues to push boundaries in the SaaS space.

Your primary responsibility will be to modernize our legacy GWT-based UIs by rewriting them in React, ensuring advancements in both developer experience and user experience.

The osapiens HUB is a cloud-based platform that helps businesses manage their sustainability, compliance, and transparency efforts more easily. The HUB offers ready-made software solutions that automate compliance with environmental and social regulations, helping businesses track and improve sustainability with minimal manual effort. It’s user-friendly, adaptable, and optimizes existing resources.  Think of it as an all-in-one toolkit for businesses looking to operate more sustainably while keeping up with legal requirements without getting bogged down in technical or administrative hassles.  
This role is based in Mannheim, a vibrant tech hub at the heart of Germany, where you'll collaborate with a talented, forward-thinking team. We embrace a hybrid work model, with three days a week in the office, ensuring the perfect balance between in-person collaboration and remote flexibility. 

Your Responsibilities

• Take a leading role in the development of complex, high-quality frontend applications, architectures alongside the team
• Design and implement scalable frontend architecture for our osapiens HUB platform using React and modern technologies
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and mockups into responsive interfaces
• Implement state management solutions using Redux, Context API, or similar technologies
• Write clean, maintainable TypeScript code with proper type definitions and interfaces
• Create and maintain comprehensive unit and integration tests using Jest, React Testing Library, or similar tools
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in coding, testing, and development processes 

Your Experience

• Deep expertise in modern ReactJS development, with advanced JavaScript and TypeScript skills that have delivered exceptional user experiences
• Track record of transforming complex UI codebases through innovative patterns, architecture improvements, and clear development guidelines
• Extensive professional front-end development experience, having built and scaled sophisticated web applications
• Eye for design and details of UX principles and best practices, with experience translating design mockups and wireframes into intuitive, accessible user experiences
